Eva Jo Sheline Jones, 60, of Wilmington, went into the arms of the Lord on Monday, April 3, 2017 along with her daughter Tiffany Renee Cartwright.

She was born in Columbus Ohio on January 29, 1957, a daughter of the late Elmer Clyde and Allie Edna Adams, and was employed as a clerical worker in a local law office.
She is survived by her daughter, Sara Harmon; her grandchildren, Mackenzie, Corey, and Serenity; her dear friend, Robin L. Gardner and her children, Melissa Gardner and Jamie Gardner, and her “Unofficial Grandson”, Lucas Gardner.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Life Community Church, 3500 Oleander Drive (Independence Mall) .

    Eva and Tiffany I am glad I had the opportunity to know you. Though I am mesmerized that you have suddenly gone from us here on earth. You were my Sisters' here on earth and my Sisters' forever you will be. I will see you both again in Heaven! Sara you are my sister here as well and a sister forever you will be. Sara at this time of mourning I pray that you and your children find comfort, peace, love, courage, strength, hope, confidence and rest through God. Remember Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those that morn: for they shall be comforted. Although words are easier said than done just know that God's ways may be mysterious and unfathomable, God's love is perfect and everlasting.
