Finian Frederick Allen was born February 22, 2013 and passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving parents on February 27, 2013 at UNC Hospital due to complications from Hydrops Fetalis.
During his six short days here on earth he touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. His life was a brief gift to us that will live on forever in our hearts.
“Fin” is the son of Jamie and Shannon Allen. “Fin” is survived by his brother, Branton Allen; maternal grandparents, Danny and Donna Gore (Grandpa & G G); paternal grandparents, Tony and Ellen Mason (Grandpa Tony & MeMe); uncle, Joshua Gore; great grandparents, Bruce and Mabel Gore (PaPa & MeMe); great grandmother, Madeline Parrish (Nana); as well as many other family members and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Port City Community Church, 250 Vision Dr., Wilmington, NC 28403.
Any memorial gifts may be made to the Shriners Hosptials for Children c/o Sudan Shriners, 403 E. Front St., New Bern, NC 28560.
The family would like to thank the staff at UNC Hospital for caring for “Fin” as well as all the family, and a special thank you to all of the many friends and Prayer Warriors that were praying for us.
