Florence Anita Roggina, 64, of Wilmington, NC, went to be with her heavenly Father on October 4, 2011.

She was born on August 3, 1947 in Manhattan, NY, daughter of the Primo and Cecelia Norcia Roggina. She was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Roggina of Bronx, NY; beloved pets, Dinky, Peaches and Max.

She was currently employed at the Monkey Junction Wal-Mart. She will be remembered by her love for her family, pets and friends.

She is survived by her two sons, Ricky Roggina (Karen) and Jimmy Jackson, Jr.; two brothers, John Roggina (Jess) and Jim Roggina (Judy); sister-in-law, Gracie; three grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews; last precious pet at her side, Lucy. Thanks to Officer Terry Slawter of the Wilmington Police Department who adopted Lucy.

A memorial service led by Pastor Ken Gourlay will be held at Whispering Pines Baptist Church, 6547 Carolina Beach Rd., Wilmington, NC in memory of our loving Mom, beautiful sister and dear aunt at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 19, 2011.
