Frances Audrey Dominguez

Frances Audrey Dominguez (Molea), age 88 of Wilmington, NC, passed away on May 5, 2021.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 3, 1933 to Frank and Amelia Augustine.

Frances married Alfred Dominguez on April 13, 1952. She held many positions for work in the technology field, including Manager, Systems Analyst, and Computer Programmer, ultimately retiring from the Cooper Group in Apex, NC in 1998. Frances also volunteered at New Hanover Memorial Hospital. She was one of the founding members of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Apex, NC. Frances loved playing bridge and shopping. She also enjoyed a nice glass of wine and reading. She held St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital close to her heart as her favorite charity.

Frances is survived by her brothers Alvin and John David Molea, son Alfred Dominguez (Julie), daughters Bobbe Herman, April Riley (Stephen), and Amelia Smith (Warren), grandchildren Eddie and Alfred Adams, Joshua Herman, Jessica Clark, Stephanie Doherty, Nathaniel and Frances Riley, Charlotte Dominguez, and Isabella Smith, as well as nine great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. In addition to both her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Alfred Dominguez.
