Frances Hale Abegg, age 89, of Wilmington, died on Friday, February 28, 2014.

She was born on October 18, 1924 to the late Everette Jonah and Nezzie Nellie Hale in Wilmington.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Abegg was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Abegg, one brother and five sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Clark and husband, George; grandson, David Patrick Clark; sister, Rosalie Hook; and several nieces and nephews.

    I will always remember her laugh & sense of humor. It was a gift to have known her. I hope your family is at peace. (She gave me a cutting from her roses. The bush grew in Wilmington & I planted a cutting here. It still grows as "Fran's Rose".
