Frank Albert Turk, 85, of Wilmington, NC, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter.
Mr. Turk was born in Bessmer, AL, to the late Bartel and Katherine Kotnik Turk. He proudly served in both the US Navy and the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He later retired after working many years in management in the steel industry.
Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Sharon H. Turk, of the home; two sons, Bartel Turk, and wife, Ceal, of Melbourne, FL, and Robert Turk, and wife, Cheryl, of Wilmington, NC; one grandson, Joshua Turk, also of Wilmington; and many, many other family and friends.
A private service with military honors will be held at a later date.
