Frankie Lee Wood, 65 of Wilmington passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012.

She was born in Wilmington on November 7, 1946 to the late Frank and Cara Sneeden.

Frankie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Frankie is survived by her husband John E. Wood, Jr.; five children, Lealah Jean Price, Bobbie D. Fowler, Jr., Rodney Wayne Fowler, John E. Wood, III, and Kim Beller. She was the loving grandmother of 12 beautiful grandchildren; also survived by one sister, Diane Ayers, three nieces and two nephews.

A memorial service will be held 2 pm Monday, April 9, 2012 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel officiated by Rev. Donald Shields.
