Fred Terretti, Jr.

March 26, 1955 - May 29, 2018
Fred Terretti, Jr.

Fred Terretti Jr, age 63, left his earthly home on May 29, 2018 in the loving arms of his family in Wilmington NC.

Fred is survived by his wife and “girlfriend” of 38 years Becky, his daughter Melissa Whitman and husband Ryan, along with 3 grandchildren: Calleigh, Alex, and Madilyn, all of Wilmington.  He leaves behind his best-friend and sister Linda Wermuth, and husband Bob of Polk City FL, his brother-in-law (riding buddy) Tony Geraci of Cincinnati OH, as well as numerous extended family members and loving friends. He is preceded in death by mother Geraldine and father Fred Sr.

Fred was a great man that will live on through all the lives he has touched.  His contagious laugh will echo with us all forever.  There is no doubt that right now he is riding his Harley with his knees in the breeze, stopping inevitably to admire classic sports cars along the journey; all the while telling everyone he meets about the wife he loves, the family he holds so dear, and his company, TruClean Facilities Management, which was created out of the back of his 1999 station wagon.  The standard of excellence he brought to his business will be continued by his wife and partner Becky and his many loyal, hardworking employees.

Fred’s request was to throw one last rockin’ party.  A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday June 10th 4:00p- 6:00p at Wilmington Funeral and Cremation, Wilmington Chapel 1535 S. 41 St. Wilmington NC 28403.

Flowers are welcome or donations can be made in his honor to Zimmer Cancer Center or Lower Cape Fear Hospice.

Freddie and I have decades of friendship and he will be missed. I always razzed him about his baby The Harley. Every time I would ask how many miles she had, he would say, she is in the shop getting some upgrades., chrome parts, big bore kit etc... It had more bells and whistles that I thought you could get put an it. He tried to show me the new Harley Davidson garage door opener feature he just had installed and couldn't get it to work. He was so bummed and all we could both do was laugh. He laughed a lot. That is what I will miss the most, his contagious laughter. Whenever I got off of the phone with him, I was always in a better mood than before the call. My prayers will be with Becky and the family. God bless you all.
