Gail Ellen Yeager Jones 62, of Wilmington, NC died Saturday January 30, 2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.

Gail was born December 13, 1958 in Washington DC and was raised in Manassas, VA the daughter of the late Harold Foster and Lois Jane Bryden Yeager. She was an Administrative Assistant at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her children Andy Jones and Kaitlin Butler of Raleigh; Sean Jones of Raleigh and Nick Jones of Wilmington; daughter Kelly Jones of Wilmington. one brother Ronald Yeager and wife Cathy of Manassas, VA.

Service 11 AM Saturday February 6, 2021 at Fort Fisher Gazebo.

The family would like memorial donations be made in Gail’s name to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church 300 Harper Avenue, Carolina Beach, NC 28428, for use towards “On The Go Program”.

    We lived across the Street from Gail's parents and were friends of theirs and Gail's. I loved keeping in touch with her and talking about memories with her and her parents. I met her parents when I fell down my front steps and they helped me.
