Gail Champion, 53, passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2012.

The daughter of the late Garney T. and Dorothy Fowler, Gail was born and raised in Wilmington, NC.

Gathering for friends and family will be held from 4- 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel.

Gail is survived by her son, Todd Champion and wife Ashley Champion of Wilmington, two sisters and husbands, Dorothy and David Seaton, Donna and Irvin Hines all of Wilmington, and brothers, John and wife Marlene Fowler of Rieglewood, and Gary Fowler of Wilmington and granddaughter Alanna Champion of Wilmington. Also survived are several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor directly to the local Domestic Violence Shelter.
