Gale (Koberger) O’Neal born January 1, 1946 in Bayside, New York died February 26, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her husband John O’Neal and parents Anne Koberger and Walter Koberger.

Gale is survived by her son Robert Lem Jr. (Amy) of Wilmington NC; daughter Wallie Haley of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Anastacia Howell (Brian), Naomi Haley & Joshua Haley and her great- grandson Carter Howell.

Gale was well known in Wilmington through her Real Estate Agency “Gale O’Neal Realty” she started her real estate career with Century 21 in 1981. Gale was loved by many and cherished by her family. After many years of residing in Wilmington, she had recently been living in Palm Coast, Florida.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.

    Lil & I were moving to Wilmington back in early 80"s. First person we met was Gale, she made our visit,her view of Wilmington a wonderful and great experience. She was a lovely lady and we loved her right off, Lil bought a home from her, and moved back to N.J. 2 years ago and she tried to locate Gale to sell it with no results. We are sorry for your loss.
