Wayne was one of those people that you were made better for having known, a certain kind of peace and gentleness of soul would touch yours. May he have that same peace he gave others from his art and art work on his next journey, may his loved ones have peace after his passing.

I am so sorry for your loss. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3,4 states “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away”. Very soon now, we will never experience losing our loved ones in death. Hope these words give you a new hope.

Wayne was my brothers first roommate when they moved away from home. They shared a tiny apartment off of Shelby Dr in Memphis Tn While living there he drew a huge mural on the wall of a wizard holding the earth in its hand. Wayne was such an awesome person, quiet but could talk one on one for what seemed like hours. I learned of his death by searching for his artwork and came upon his obituary. I was shocked & saddened....my gosh he was so young. My condolences to family and loved ones.

I am so sorry for your loss. Wayne was one of handful of us kids that were teens together at the lakes. I'd hang out at his house. We tried to pick out Norwegian Woods on the banjo. I caught up with him years back. He reminded me about a water color class that he, my mother and I took. I lost contact with him after that. I started looking for him again a few years ago. I thought about going to see him since I retired. I wasn't sure it was him till I saw the scar on his forehead. His passing saddens me.

So sorry to hear about this. I was just thinking about him & found this sad news. I knew Wayne when he lived in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was a talented artist & musician. We had a lot of great visits & played music together. Condolences to Nancy, his friends, & family.
