Gary Grossman

Gary Grossman, age 67, of Leland, NC, passed away on September 26, 2017 after a five-month battle with pancreatic cancer.

Gary was born March 1, 1950 in Philadelphia, PA.

He attended public school in Philadelphia and graduated from CW Post College.  He served in the US Army Reserve.

Gary was married to Leann Guengerich on January 9, 1977, and celebrated their 40th anniversary with a trip to Israel followed by a vacation with family in San Juan.

Gary was employed as a purchasing manager for Ciba-Geigy in Summit, NJ.  He remained close to his coworkers there until his death.  He also worked for Berlex/Bayer Health Care, and at his retirement job at Technical Coating International in Belville, NC. Gary and Leann moved to Magnolia Greens in Leland in 2009.

He is survived by his wife Leann, son Harry, also of Leland, and son Marc and his wife Angela of Quakertown, PA.  He is also survived by his best walking buddy, Smuckers.

The funeral will be private.  The family will accept visitors at their home from 2:00 to 4:00pm on Saturday, September 30.
