Gary Munn Pixley


Gary Munn Pixley formerly of Fairport, NY died peacefully at home on December 30, 2009 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

He is survived by his wife Annie, children Lynda-Jo Pixley, David Pixley, step-children Stacey Kalvitis and Craig Foisy, four grandchildren, brother Michael Pixley (Maxine), sister Penny Pascoe, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Gary was a long time member of the Barbershop Harmony Society chapters in Rochester, NY, Wilmington, NC and most currently in Raleigh, NC.

A celebration of life for Gary will take place 11:00 A.M. Saturday April 17, 2010 in the Heritage Garden at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington 28401.
