Gavin Robert Fresia, born on December 11, 2020, in Wilmington, North Carolina, left this world on August 12, 2023. Though his time on Earth was short, Gavin’s impact was immeasurable, and his spirit will forever be remembered.
Gavin, at the tender age of 2 years and 8 months, brought joy and inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His infectious laughter and bright smile could light up even the darkest of days. He was also known as the Director of Smiles at Keller Williams Realty. He had a special fondness for bubbles, hats, stars, music, dancing and his beloved standard poodle, Beau. Gavin loved strumming along to music with his ukulele. These simple joys brought him immense happiness, reminding us all of the beauty found in life’s simplest pleasures.
Born to Brandon Scott Fresia and Claire Marie Choate, Gavin was a cherished son whose presence filled their lives with love and warmth. The bond between Gavin and his parents was unbreakable, a testament to the incredible love they shared. Gavin’s paternal grandparents, Michael and Katherine Fresia, and maternal grandparents, Robert “Papi” and MJ “Mimi” Peirce, were fortunate to witness his growth and be part of his journey. They provided unwavering support, love, and guidance throughout his too-brief time on Earth.
Gavin’s uncles, Michael Fresia and Sam Choate, and his aunt, Anjelica Fresia, were sources of endless laughter and affection for him. Their love and presence added richness to Gavin’s life, creating memories that will forever be treasured.
