Gene Martin Farlow went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Saturday January 18, 2020.

He was born on May 26, 1950 to JC and Kathleen (Williams) Farlow. He was a native of Greensboro NC. He made his home in Carolina Beach for the last 25 years.

He was preceded in death by son Joseph (Joey) Farlow, his parents, brother Morris Farlow and sister Josie Marshburn. He is survived by wife Elizabeth (Betsy) Farlow, daughter Elizabeth Farlow Dodson and her husband Kevin, grandchildren Blake, Mattie, Owen, Maci and Chase. Brothers, Harold Farlow and wife Luisa, Bruce Farlow and wife Cindy, Phil Farlow and wife Mary, Gary Farlow and one sister Gail Farlow as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was a member of Seaside Chapel, Carolina Beach. Thank you to Hospice and all his caregivers during his illness.

The family will receive friends at a visitation to be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, from 1:00 pm till 2:00 pm at the Seaside Chapel, 105 Dow Rd S, Carolina Beach, NC 28428. A Service to Celebrate Gene’s life will follow at 2:00 pm.
