Gene Thomas Grant, 63, of Leland passed away at his home, Saturday, April 14, 2012.

He was the son of the late Harley F. Grant and Hester I. Grant. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Alex James.

Gene is survived by his wife Rita Grant; three children, Wendy Grant, Jeff Grant (KaNesha), and Gina Turner (Matt), and step-son, Justin Elliott. He has nine grandchildren and two special cousins, Danny Bradshaw and Cheryl Cottle.

Private services will be held later.
