Genevieve Christobel Pullenayegam, age 71, of Wilmington, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at her home in the warm embrace of her family.
She was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka on January 1, 1950, the daughter of John Anthony Fernandopulle and Mary Ramanaden Fernandopulle.
Genevieve is survived by her beloved husband Rienzie Stanislaus Pullenayagam; her sons Rajiv, Jehan and Kevin and daughters in law Elva and Katia. She is also survived by her grandchildren Rohan and Rebekah.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, July 5, 2021, at the Pine Valley United Methodist Church, 3788 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28403, Reverend Kevin Thompson officiating.
