Spoke with Genny just 2 weeks ago and am shocked and saddened this has happened so much sooner than expected. For Genny's sake I am thankful she did not have 3-6 more months of such suffering, and am praying for God's peace for you, her family. Will see you Friday at the service. May God be our help and encouragement when we lose family and friends! Norm Evans, New Bern

I am so sorry to hear of Genny's passing. She was a good friend and cared deeply about all her friends and family. Genny was my 'mentor' into the United Daughters of the Confederacy as well as learning to scrapbook. We worked together briefly and had many lenghty chats. She will be missed.

    Ian Johnston says:
Jenny was great to work with. Her good nature was always evident and she was always ready to offer a compliment or a kind word or thought. Her book keeping was always to the penny and we always had great confidence in her work. She was one of the nicest people we have worked with in the constuction business and we will miss her dearly. Best Wishes and Peace to her family and friends from everyone at Johnston Architecture.
