George Bentley Hardy age 71, of Clayton, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2014.

He was born in Leesburg, VA on December 7, 1942, a son of George Hiram Hardy and Mary Palmer.

George was a very proud veteran who had retired from the United States Air Force where he served his country with honor and distinction for over twenty years.

A Committal Service with Military Honors will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 7, 2014, at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
