    Alan and Lin Dinkelacker says:
George was our favorite marine and the hardest person to ever imagine as a marine. His bright smile and gentle manner stood out. The stories he told were humorous and engaging and had us entertained for hours. George's sock collection was equally memorable. His socks were legendary. As a golf partner, he was the best. The only time an expletive was uttered from his mouth was when he 4 putted. His sense of humor was always present. He will be sorely missed on the course, walking Nikki around the block, in the neighborhood, and as a friend to all. .

Diane, I’m so sad to hear this news. George was such a stand up guy with a no BS attitude but you knew you could always go to him for advice or for a chat. He always had the best stories and it was great to just sit and listen to him talk about his many endeavors over the course of his life. Sending you much love, hugs and prayers. ❤️

Diane, George was always the most thoughtful person. I can remember I mentioned once how much I liked the shrimp rolls with peanut sauce at the Vietnamese restaurant he liked to go for lunch. After that, every time he went there were 2 with sauce sitting on my desk. He made me a better person just knowing him. You are in my thoughts and prayers daily. He will truly be missed
