Georgia A. Murphy, 71 of Wilmington passed away October 24, 2008 peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her son Kelly Brian Murphy, great grandson Kameron Kelly Marratta, parents Herbert and Marie Schmidbauer and brother Dennis Richards.
She is survived by her children Tami Fernandes of Wilmington, Tim and wife Lynn Murphy of Greensboro, Shawn and his wife Cheryl Murphy of Wilmington, Kevin D. Murphy of Wilmington, sisters Pam Gray and husband Mike, and Deb Riddle and husband Al, all of Milwaukee, WI, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, and her canine companion Koko.
A celebration of her life will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 121 New Bern Avenue.
