Gerald M. Maready, 82, passed away April 16, 2022 in Wilmington, NC.

Gerald was born to the late Lee O. and Corinne (Casteen) Maready in Chinquapin, Duplin County, NC on June 16, 1939. Also preceding him in death is a sister Joan M. Cobb.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Phillips) Maready; sons Jerry Maready; Patrick Maready; brothers Jack Maready and wife Margaret; Kenan Maready and wife Millie; Coleman Maready and wife Donna; sister Sudie M. Goldston

A memorial service will be conducted 11AM Thursday April 21,2022 at Pine Vally Baptist Church.

    So sad to hear Gerald passed. He was a good friend and co-worker. We sat across the desk from each other at U. S. Customs for many years. My love and prayers for Nancy, Jerry, Patrick and family.

    I met Gerald at the YMCA . He played basketball and racketball for several years. He allways gave a 100% and a good friend.
