Gerald Maxwell “Coon Man” Bruton, 54 of Castle Hayne passed away Friday, November 20, 2015 at Brunswick Cove Living Center.

Gerald; “Coon Man” as he is know by his friends is the son of Cary G. Bruton and the late Hilda Cayton Bruton.

Survivors include his daughter, Candice Borjas of Belville; one brother, Gill Bruton of Charlotte and one sister, Sabrina Keys of Wilmington and three grandchildren.

A graveside service will be Monday, November 23, 2015 at the Bordeaux Family Cemetery in Castle Hayne at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 PM prior to the graveside service at the cemetery.
