I remember Ms. Gertrude going way back to about 1960, when she lived on Point Caswell Road, outside Atkinson. My deepest sympathies and condolences to the family. I hope her memories fill your hearts with joy and peace.

    Ana says:
I am so sorry for your loss. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3,4 states - And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Very soon now, we will never experience losing our loved ones in death. Hope these words give you a new hope.

Frankly honest, there are to many memories of my Grannie to put in this small page. I know my Grannie is with her family that she has missed for so long and I know she hugged Jesus and then asked if He was hungry! LOL Gertie now you will know a Love like you have never Known. I am sad for those of us left here but I am Over Joyed that you are now home. I celebrate your life instead of moaning our loss. I will not miss you but I will look forward to seeing you again. As you had told me at times, you have now shed "this old worn out body". As I told you every time I left you while you were here I will say once more; I Love You Grannie!

Our thanks to Mamma's friends who came or sent their condolences. Few of the many friends she had over the years remain with us; she is with them now as they rest and rejoice together. ...-.-
