Gilbert E. Roberts Sr., born September 14, 1933 in Winston-Salem, died in his home on August 7, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, parents, and a brother, Dixon.
He is survived by his wife Dolores; daughter Karen; son Robbie; 5 children by marriage, Lori, Susan, Mark, Donna and Lisa; granddaughter Paige; by marriage 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Aubrey, Ellen, Jane, and Josie.
God had Gilbert’s place ready for him and He reached down and took him by the hand.
Although his time in Hospice care was very short, we thank them for their loving care.
We are honoring Gilbert’s wishes that there be no services. Remember him well !!
