    Mercedes Walden says:
Heaven needed another Angel and called for Vernell. One of the nicest person I had the privilege to be around growing up in Hialeah, Fl with Sharon, Connie and Randy. She was always welcoming and I loved her cooking!!! As kids we would try to sneak something by her but she always knew what was going on. Her and Clarence always had an open door for any of their kids friends and believe me we were a wild bunch. R.I.P. Vernell you will always be missed and loved by all who met you. My heartfelt condolences to Sharon, Connie, Randy and the rest of the family. Love to all Mercedes

    Pamela Kerr Lessor says:
Aunt Vernell was a beam of light. She and my mom were the tightest of friends in Hialeah, sitting at the table having coffee and chatting daily. Vernell had a way with words like no other and could make you laugh often. She was a warm giving person and we lost a mischievous earth angel. She will be forever remembered fondly and joyful. Deepest condolences to the family. Most lovingly from the Kerr’s of Melbourne Fl and Wilmington NC

    Joanne Jackson says:
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Sharon, Connie and Randy. Your mom was a force to be reckoned with, like our mom. I remember when we were kids we always had so much fun at your house at our sleepovers after Saturday night dancing. Your mom always made sure there was plenty of food to eat. Heaven received another great person. Our hearts go out to you. Love to you all. Joanne, Ginger and the Thompson Family.
