Gladys (Ma) Arboreen Smith, 87 of Hampstead, N. C. passed away quietly on Sunday, November 28.
Gladys was born in Stanbough, MI , daughter of the late John and Anna Arboreen.
She worked with RCA in New Jersey before moving to Hampstead. She retired with over thirty years service at Dupont. She loved her “Red Hat Society” friends and cherished times spent with them.
She was preceded in death by her 12 brothers and sisters, her daughter Gladys (Cissi) Gymtruk and son in law John Gymtruk.
Gladys is survived by her sons Joseph (Smitter), Tracey and wife Teresa, grandchildren Tara Smith and Bryan Gymtruk, and one great grandchild Sabrina Bliss Deckard.
As requested, there will be no service.
