Dr. Gregory Neal Holub, age 64 of Wilmington North Carolina, died unexpectedly on October 14, 2021. In Wilmington North Carolina.
Greg was born on July 7, 1957 to Neal and Virginia Holub in Kearney Nebraska.
A time of visitation and reflection will be held on November 5, 2021 from the hours of 6 PM till 8 PM at the Wilmington Funeral & Cremation Chapel.
Greg attended Kearney Senior High School in Nebraska and graduated in 1976. During his high school years he met the love of his life and high school sweetheart Kathy Fyfe, after graduation he attended former Kearney State College in Kearney Nebraska he continued his education at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri where he received his doctorate in Chiropractic care.
Greg owned Holub Chiropractic clinic in Wilmington North Carolina.
Greg never sat still, he was an avid cyclist runner and very active in Cape Fear Cyclists in Wilmington Road Runners Club, where he participated in many triathlons and road races, Greg also was a scuba diver he had many interest in life, the newest one was flying drones for his business “Eye in the sky”. Greg was very sport minded not only did he participate in track and football but he love to watch all sports, Greg was a great Nebraska Husker Kansas City Chiefs fan.
Greg is survived by his wife of 42 years Kathy Fyfe Holub; his beloved cat Putin; his mother-in-law Kay Fyfe of Kearney Nebraska; sister-in-law Autumn and John Shafer of Jamestown North Dakota; sister-in-law Erin and Dr. Terry Becker of Kearney Nebraska; nieces and nephews Jazmin and Devin Renner, Ashlee Shafer, Derek Hynds, Austin Shafer, Faith, Anthony, Michaela, Isaac and Alexis Becker and numerous of lifetime friends and family.
Greg is preceded in death by his parents Neil and Virginia Holub of Wilmington and father-in-law; Dr. Doyle Fyfe of Kearney Nebraska.
