Ever since I can remember, I had a blue eyed, infectious smiling hero in my life Guy, my cousin. I remember clearly how excited I would be about seeing you so I could listen to your wacky stories, or hear about the latest movie you were working on. The art always connected us, although I will never be as talented as you; you're unique , my Gussie, my Hero. Jane arrived back safely with Guy, who is back with his mum, but I wanted to say thankyou to everyone in Wilmington and Gussies friends for their love and kindness. Still can't believe you're gone;give my love to Uncle Bas and the family I was not priveledged to meet this side of life, although i think of them often. Always and forever....... Lucy xxxxx

I worked with Gus for many, many years and he was a neighbor downtown back in the day. I used to go visit and have a beer, play with those 2 adorable Scotties he had. Really enjoyed hanging out with Gus. I am quite saddened by the news of his passing. May you be with your Scotties at the rainbow bridge friend; you are missed.

Gus will be greatly missed. He was a talented artist and a good friend. His quick wit and infectious smile were only outweighed by his generous heart. I am grateful to have known him and very sorry to hear about his passing.
