Memorial Gifts & Donations

Hannah Emile (Graham) Marcoulides passed away peacefully at her home on January 6, 2024.  She was born in Kentwood, Louisiana on November 14, 1932 to Malcolm S. and Ida M. Graham. Hannah moved to Galveston, Texas as a child and met her future husband, Francis C. Marcoulides, Jr., on a blind date. They married in 1951 and enjoyed 59 years together until Frank’s passing in 2010.

A stay-at-home Mom, she raised seven children, in what she called organized chaos. Hannah and Frank moved many times due to his profession. Hannah enjoyed acting and participated in many plays in a local community theatre in Harworth, New Jersey. Their final move together was to Orange County California. A very religious woman, she was a Eucharistic Minister for the Santiago de Compostela Catholic Church in Lake Forest, California.

After raising her family, she started a career as a Documentation Administrator at Philips Ultrasound International and Western Digital. In retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her husband and traveling the world together. Upon Frank’s passing, she moved to Virginia to be closer to her daughter, Hannah. With her health declining, she moved to Wilmington, North Carolina where her daughters, Ida and Hannah, and her son-in-law, Ron took care of her until her death.

A strong and loving Mother, wife, and friend, Hannah is loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Hannah is survived by her children: Michael (Dee), Malcolm, Philip (Dorothy), James, David (Marie), Hannah (Ron) and Ida. Grandchildren: Michelle, Sean, Demetrius, Alex, Malcolm, Kristina, Matthew, Brandon, Caitlin, Alyssa, and several great grandchildren.

Hannah you and I did not see eye to eye in our older years but my younger days you were a great mentor and mother figure in my life. I will always love you and be grateful to you for your support in my life. Love Kipp. My regards to the Marcoulides family.
