Memorial Gifts & Donations

Hannah Shope Armour, 33, of Carolina Beach, NC passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 16, 2023.

She was born on October 20, 1989 in Wilmington, NC to Tom and Joanie Armour.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister Reagan Armour; her son Cayden Carlisle; grandparents Christine and Richard Noecker, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Hannah had many interests in life; however, her passions were animals, spending time on the water either surfing or boating, and most importantly, her son Cayden. She was never happier, nor prouder, than when she was with him. She was full of love and adventure and her quick wit
never failed to bring laughter to those around her. Hannah had a huge heart and a kind and gentle spirit. She lived large, loved hard and will be missed beyond measure.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Ocean Cure of Carolina Beach or the charity of your choosing.

A Celebration of Life for Hannah will be held at a later date.

    Kiki Halverson says:
Hannah has been my closest friend since moving to North Carolina. My love and heart goes out to Cayden, the Armours, and the rest of those who loved this beautiful girl. A note she left on my fridge, still standing, reminds me of this heartbreaking loss; however, ever reminding me to keep hope in my heart and the desire to live life full of love and to the fullest possible. I will never forget you Hannah.

I only knew Hannah for a short while but we connected on a deep level and I can tell you she was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. I’ll cherish our times at the beach laughing and talking about anything and everything. She loved her son fiercely and wanted nothing but the absolute best for him. She was always striving to be the best mom and person. I had a dream and Hannah was there, smiling bigger than I’ve ever seen and belly laughing, telling me she is OK. I’ll hold on to that and my fond memories of our short time together. Prayers to her whole family, gone way too soon.
