Mr. Harry Randel Mobley, 65 of Wilmington passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015 at his home.

Mr. Mobley was the son of the late John Harvey Mobley and Kathleen Moore Mobley. Harry worked many years in the trucking industry; having worked for, Groves Trucking, Hite Trucking and Ready Mixed.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Peggy Sellers Mobley; a daughter, Heather VanPelt of Castle Hayne; a son John Mobley of Wilmington; one sister, Yvonne Groves of Reigelwood; four grandchildren, Hayleigh Van Pelt, Kylie Mobley, Sara Mobley and Ryan VanPelt; also several nieces and nephews.

Harry was a wonderful man that loved everyone he met and everyone loved him. He was always the life of the party. May he dance in heaven with all who have passed and rejoice in the Lord.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the Glen Meade Village Apartments Club House at 1518 Village Dr. The family asks that you dress casual.

    I remember seeing Harry many times at Wilmington Health, his favorite social outing! Ha! Peggy, I will always have fond memories of you and Harry and may the Lord comfort you and your family as only He can. Dr. Sheerin asked about you and Harry several months ago. Heather, may the Lord comfort you and your children.
