Harry Taylor Jr. age 99 of Wilmington, NC and Chatham, NJ passed away April 6, 2013 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter.

Mr. Taylor had been a draftsman for the Newark Die Company for 40 years,retiring in 1975.

He was born in Brooklyn,NY and lived in Maplewood,New Jersey for many years before moving to Chatham in 1989.

Throughout his life, he was a devoted hiker,jogger,bike rider, swimmer and skier. His hobby of inventing toys funded his children’s college education.

His wife of 65 years, Norma E. Taylor , preceded him in death in January 2009.

He is survived by a daughter, Jean Wilcox; and a son, Glenn Taylor; three grandchildren and a great grandchild.

A Family Gathering will be held later in New Jersey.

    I am so sorry for your loss. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3,4…states “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away”. Very soon now, we will never experience losing our loved ones in death. Hope these words give you a new hope.
