Memorial Gifts & Donations

It is with heavy hearts we inform you of the sudden passing of Heather Gouse on Monday, March 18,
2022, at her home in Plattsburg, New York.

Heather is survived by her father, Charles Gouse, in NewYork; mother, Carol S. Price, daughter Jillian Bishop and sister, Holly Robinson in North Carolina; and preceded in death by her step-father, Dr. Kenneth Price, sister, Jill Anne and brother Jeffrey Michael Gouse.

Heather was born February 8, 1967 in Syracuse, New York. She never wanted to be defined by her
health struggles, addiction, or mistakes… she was a beautiful, intelligent child of the suburbs claimed by
their grips. She had a childhood fairy-tale dream of life, was a talented gymnast, loved animals and
wanted to adopt every kitty she saw, and craved another chance for herself and the love of her family.

The family requests donations to the Elmore SPCA Inc. (elmorespca.org and on Facebook), just click and
Donate in lieu of flowers. Heather’s kitty “Junior” was taken here, and we are hopeful he will find a
loving new home through adoption. Memorial services will not be held due to geographic spread.

Although I only met Heather once, she had a piece of my heart forever. She sent my husband Ed and I a lovely thank you letter after she went north. My husband and I are best friends with Heather’s mother Carol and have a good relationship with her daughter Holly. Heather’s kindness will stay with me always. RIP my friend.
