Helen G. Blinn

Memorial Gifts & Donations

On January 28, 2024, Helen Gunion Blinn was received into heaven and into the presence of almighty God! We rejoice that she can once again sing, walk, and see and is probably planting flowers in a garden or playing Bingo. She was born on June 27, 1923 in Frankfort, Indiana to Harry and Gretchen Gunion. She was the oldest of four girls.

Helen and husband, Max, had three daughters; Janet, Pam, and Mary. She has seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren whom she loved passionately and who brought her great joy.

Helen was a long time member at Myrtle Grove Presbyterian Church where she sang joyfully in the choir. Her devotion to God and his word was unwavering, and her strong faith an example to many. We invite family members and church friends to come together to remember Helen on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 1:30 in the sanctuary.

I met Mrs. Helen when my school club went to sing at Trinity Grove. We got to do a puzzle together and play Uno. I also was able to get her a puzzle for Christmas. She was such a lovely and smart lady! I pray for her family and friends during this time. I am going to miss seeing her at our performances.

Mrs. Blinn and me was helping decorate the Christmas tree at Trinity Grove. She was a great lady. I loved taking care of her. When she won bingo she would get Reese cups because she knew they were my favorite! Every time I eat a Reese cup I think of her!! I’m going to miss her so much!!!
