Helen was one of the first persons I met when I moved here in 1968. We immediately became best friends and remained close through the years. For many years, we sat side by side in the Church choir. She had a beautiful voice . She was a very loving and giving person. She always had a very positive attitude even when she was so sick. I will miss her so much. It's comforting to know that she is at peace in heaven with her Lord.

Richard W Wade & Tony Bryan says:
Helen is rejoicing now because she was called home to heaven. She has been an inspiration to me for the 50 plus years that I have known her. Her kindness, compassion and love for all who knew her was self evident. She was most proud of the daughter she raised and the woman she became. She was proud of the faith in her Lord and with a song in her heart, and shared her faith in talks with you. In all my years I knew some things to be certain, we were going to get a birthday card and a Christmas card with a sweet message, a prayer, and the warmth of a hug through that card. When you talked in person or the phone you were going to hear a joke or two that she read somewhere. We cherished her and will always have the memories of the shining example of how to live your life for the God she loved and with no regrets. She is now watching over us all. It's farewell for now my dear Helen, until we meet again.

Ms Helen was one of the sweetest most thoughtful people I’ve ever met in my life! I was always moved to emotion by her encouragement & all of her beautiful cards that she sent me. She will always have my respect & will never leave my thoughts through each & every holiday. I’m sure our Lord God embraced her tightly upon her arrival in His presence.

I was 8 or 9 years old when I met Ms.Helen.I lived around the corner from her house, visiting her often just to sit on the porch and soak up her amazing wisdom. Many of cold winter mornings She’d invite me to wait for the bus inside, always having a breakfast treat to share. As I got older, I reminded her of how much I valued the influence that she had been in my early years. Our lives continued to intertwine as we again- only lived down the street from one another by the time was married. So I believe the good Lord kept her near me throughout my whole life. What a blessing to find out that my brother would marry Ms. Helen’s daughter! I was the lucky one because I was able to be entertained by “An Angel” throughout my life. If you knew her, you would agree....She was a special lady. I will miss her
