Helen took much joy in writing and sending cards. That was her ministry. She sent heartfelt messages to each and every person she wrote. It thrilled her when people thanked her for her special cards that meant so much to them, years after receiving them.

Helen worked in many fields throughout her life. She worked for a credit union, assistant to a hospital administrator, for the New Hanover County Register of Deeds office, legal secretary for a local attorney and for a local Real Estate Company in Carolina Beach where she retired at age 66.

The family would like to thank Dr. Howard Ruscetti and his Nurse Patty Kenney of Federal Point Medical Center in Carolina Beach. Special friends Diane Tucker, Nancy Huffer, Beth Bullard, Dena Bullard, Carolyn Crum, Sally Semmler, Barbara Wilson, Sue Hagen, and John and Debbie Stokley.

I will never forget the time Ms Helen decided I should have a phone number of a man doing some work in the United Beach Vacations office. She made sure it happened. I have so many fond memories of my time working with her. She was a wonderful and loving person.
