Helene Perrotto

Helene Perrotto, 89 of Wilmington, NC passed away on Friday August 26, 2022. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 10, 1933 to Theodore and Helen Chmielewski.

In addition to her parents, Helene was preceded in death by her daughter Janine Perrotto.

Helene graduated from Freeport High School where she met John, the love of her life. In 1955 they wed after college and raised two children. Together they lived in West Bay Shore for 39 years. She was a loving and supportive mother and amazing cook.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 67 years, John Perrotto, son Jonathan Perrotto and wife Dr. Judith, granddaughters Sarah Palevo and husband Michael, Elaine McLamb and husband Cameron, Jaqueline Perrotto, great grandchildren Enzo Palevo and Penelope McLamb, brother Richard Chmielewski and wife Chris, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A visitation will be Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 1pm -3pm at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation Chapel.
