H.B., I’m so sorry I will no longer hear that sweet voice on the phone anymore. You were one of Northside’s TOP Youth Ministers and I always remembered you because of your light heartedness, your contagious laughter and teddy bear hugs. You brought so much joy and laughter to me at a very crucial time in my life. You were never too busy to talk to me when I was going through my rough times; I will always be indebted for that friendship! It just pains me that you had your own issues and crisis you were dealing with; which you dealt with massive dignity. You had so much love and respect for everyone; including the ones who wouldn’t give you the time of day! I will always cherish the memories, laughs and the many phone calls. Rest in peace my sweet Man; you’re not hurting anymore. Keep watching over me and your little sugar (Patsy). We both miss you very much and she and I will visit your special place at the Beach. I will always love you and I will always remember what you would say at the end of our conversations. Lots of hugs and kisses, H.B.; you were truly loved by the ones that count here on Earth!

    Patsy Sumblin Brown says:
My Dearest H.B., It's so hard for me to believe that you're gone,I will never forget you and the memories we made together. You told me not to ever forget that you loved me and I promise I will never forget. My days on this earth will not be the same. You did love me and you didn't have to say it for me to know that it was true,I felt your love.I'm so sorry that we never had a chance to really be together. There was never any closure to our love and relationship. We did have 8 months together and then you were sick and had a stroke and went from there into a nursing home. You had a lasting effect on me and a part of me you carried with you,you left me incompete. You told me to never settle for anything less than the best and that Jesus loved me.Thank you for that and I will never settle for less. You were the best and I Love You.Go and rest in peace and know that your memories will live as long as I'm alive.Later....your little sugar

    Wendell & Lynda Baggett says:
Henry was a dear friend since 1968 when we served as his Preacher at Northside Church of Christ. He was a tremendous help in reaching others for Jesus. He Made the decision to enter the Ministry Graduating from Atlanta Christian College and Emanuel School of Religion. He was a faithful servant of the Lord. He served with us at the East Point Christian in East Point, GA. as an Associate and experienced a fruitful ministry. The friendship that we had with Henry has been dear to our hearts. The last conversation with Him was in February of this year. We talked and then prayed together and he concluded the conversation with "this was great". May God's blessings be upon his family during this life-ending servant. Blessingss, Wendell & Lynda Baggett
