Herman E. Gram, 90, of Signature Place, Wilmington, formerly of Sarasota, FL and St. Louis, MO., died May 20, 2007. He was born in St. Louis, MO on June 16, 1916. Surviving are his wife Suzanne Meyer Gram of Wilmington, NC; sons Richard (Rita) Gram, Tom (Janice Anderson)Gram, John (Suzanne St. James) Gram, Allan (Susan Stroud) Barker, Bob (Jane Baggerman) Barker. Also survived by sister Barbara Kurtz and brother-in-law Jay Straus. He was preceded in death by sister Miriam Straus. Surviving grandchildren are Wendy Gram, Zachary Anderson-Gram, Braden Anderson-Gram, Foster Barker, Wesley Barker and Cameron Barker.
A private memorial service will be followed by a visitation of friends and family at the home from 7:00 – 9:00PM, Wednesday, May 23, 2007. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCare Center, 725A Wellington Avenue, Wilmington, NC 28401
