Howard N. Bailey of Leland, NC, died Friday, August 26, 2011, at his residence.

He was born in Dallas Co., AL, on March 21, 1923, the son of the late Ebern and Mildred (Clement) Bailey.

Surviving is a nephew, Frank L. Marshall III of Leland, NC, two brothers, Edward Bailey of Centre, AL, and Max Bailey of Demopolis, AL, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted 3:00 pm Wednesday, August 31, 2011, at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. John Bracey.
