Hunter Garrett Lewis, 17, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017.

A visitation is planned for Monday, June 12, 2017 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Wilmington Chapel located at 1535 S. 41st Street Wilmington NC 28403.

A graveside service is planned for Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery located at 7642 Funston Road Winnabow, NC 28479.

    My husband, son and I met Hunter while shopping at HT. My son is 9 and took to Hunter instantly. Hunter was always so kind, calling my son by name; asking him about his day, sports...whatever was going on at the time. It always pleased by husband and I so much to watch our son light up with every glimpse of Hunter. We wanted the family to know what an exceptional young man Hunter was to even perfect strangers and how much he touched one little boy's heart. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

    Hunter and I worked together at HT. He was a great coworker. Hard working and great personality. Always willing to help out and put a smile on your face. The Teeter won't be the same without you Hunter. The HT family is definitely mourning your loss. Thoughts go out to your family and friends.

    Hi, i am steffani. Im fromt Texas. Me and hunter was close, i remember when i started riding his moms horse for her the first day went to their house to ride he told me right then and there he was gonna ride to. Them days was ones of the best days i had in a log time at the time. Hunters smile, laughter, jokes, and caring not just at his house but in school too won a special place in my heart. Me and hunter never really stayed in touch once he moved but i still thought bout him and had him in my heart. I wish this didnt happen so soon, but hes in a better place and hes watching over all of us. I miss you and love you so much hunter. R.I.P❤
