Lida Ellen Baggett, 79, died on January 7, 2022, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Born in Sneedsferry, NC on July 20, 1942, she was the daughter of Roy Foster and Ruth Smith Foster. Lida resided in Leland, NC and had attended Dixon Elementary and Middle Schools.

Mrs. Baggett was employed in the past at The Commons of Brightmore, The Country Kitchen, Morrisons and Davis Nursing Home.

She was a member of Bridge of Life Community Church.

Lida is survived by her sons Richard Foster (Dawn) of Boston, MA and Ervin Foster (Angela) of Leland, NC; grandchildren: Adam Foster (Ashely), Scott Foster, Amanda Foster and Renee Foster; great-grandchildren: Micah Foster, Maeve Foster and Molly Foster; sisters: Unice Monroe, Pauline Nobel and Effie Moretti; and brother Buddy Foster.

She is predeceased by her father, Roy Foster; mother, Ruth Smith; sister, Bell Smith; brother, James Foster; and two grandsons, Richie Foster, and Danny Foster.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial service to be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Jerome Bullard officiating at Bridge of Life Community Church, Leland, NC.
