Ida Mae Finger, 62, of Wilmington, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Finger was born January 11, 1951, in Kingston, NY, to the late John and Dorothy Miller Bush.

She now resides in Wilmington, NC, and is survived by her loving husband, Joseph E. Finger of 43 years. Other survivors include her brother, Norman Bush and wife, Debbie; her brother, Raymond Bush; Joseph Bush and wife Diane, William Bush, Leona Miller, William Miller and Catherine Miller.

Ida was a loving and caring mother to her children, John J. Finger (Melissa), Tanya L. Conklin (Randy), Daniel J. Finger, Angela M. Lowe (John), Melissa R. Romeo (Anthony), and Shirley J. Curci (Brian), and is the greatest grandmother to 17 grandkids, and a great grandma to one.

She is a big lover of owls, the color purple, Elvis, and anything she could collect of these things, she would. She likes the beach and walks in the woods with her husband. She recently spent their 43rd anniversary on a cruise to the Bahamas with some of her family where she was able to enjoy some new experiences, like swimming with dolphins. Large family gatherings would make her happiest and she believed in her family being close and always being there for each other.

There will be a private family gathering at Wilmington Funeral and Cremation.
