Iris D. Hewett, widow of Walter R. Hewett, 78, of Wilmington died Friday November 13, 2009, at Brunswick Cove Living Center.

Surviving are a daughter Deborah Novotny and husband Richard of Wilmington, sons, Herschel Hewett and wife Betty of Palm Bay, FL; Chris Hewett and wife Betty Jo of Leland; Kenneth Hewett and wife Marion of Leland; and Tracy Hewett and wife Robin of Palm Bay, FL. nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson

A graveside funeral service will be conducted 1:30 P.M Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Pastor Jimmy Mintz will conduct the service.

The family will see friends 6-8 P.M Monday, November 16, 2009 at Wilmington Burial and Cremation Service.
