Irvin C. Kepner Jr, 89, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 in Hampstead, North Carolina. He was born in West Chester, Pennsylvania on January 1, 1933 to Irvin and Mary Elizabeth Kepner. Upon graduation from high school, Irvin enlisted in the United States Coast Guard. After serving his country, he pursued his college education and became a pharmacist.
After several successful years in co-ownership of three pharmacies in New York State, Irvin continued his passion for pharmacy in Wilmington, NC for 25 more years, before retiring in 1997.
He is predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Mary Ann Kepner and his son, Robert J. Kepner. Irvin is survived by his two daughters, Nancy Hill, and husband JV, and Judi Marks, and husband Kevin; grandchildren Matthew Hill, and wife Sarah, Courtney Hill, Tyler Marks, Keenan Marks, and Joshua Kepner. Great grandchildren include Anson Savery and Madeline Hill.
