Irving Daniel Gralak, Jr. “Dan” 78, of Delco, died Thursday, June 2, 2022, at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Wilmington after a short illness.
Dan was born in Wilmington on April 5, 1944, the son of the late Irving Daniel and Mary Oliver Gralak, and was a retired truck driver and mechanic. He served his county faithfully in the United States Air Force. Preceding him in death was a grandson Daniel Gralak Jr. and a sister Martha Ann Horne.
Surviving are his wife Ronda Gralak, sons Chris Gralak and wife Amy, Danny Gralak and wife Missie, daughters Suzette Gralak-Hammonds and husband Roger, Megan Lewis and husband Michael and Kimberly Gralak; his sisters Mary Garner, Mary Lee Blunt and Elizabeth Chase; his grandchildren Christina, Dustin, Tristen, Ethan, Lexis, Logan, Nicole, Trinity, Shane, Aiden, Ariana and Riley. He also leaves behind his beloved dog Puff.
At Dan’s request, no formal service will be held, but a Celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, June 11, 2022, from 2 PM until 5 PM at his residence 1595 Delco Prosper Road, Delco NC 28436.
The family would like to thank the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare for the loving compassion they showed Dan and his family and would like memorial contributions to the Lower CapeFear Hospice 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington NC 28401.
