    It was with great shock and sadness that I just learned of Bob's passing. I met Bob and his parents when he was around 13 to my 14 years while my late grandfather, Robert Meredith, was building their beach house at Fort Fisher. I have many fond memories of our childhood and teen years together on the beach and in Winston-Salem and I will always remember him. My sincere condolences to his family.
