Jackie Melvin Norris, 62, of Wilmington, passed away on August 16, 2009.

He is survived by his partner Gene Strupe, Jr, two sisters Ann Thrasher and Linda Gregory. Four nieces Portia Lawrence, Rose Meyers, Marie Thrasher, Sandi Sperling and two nephews Scott and Jimmy Gregory, numerous great nieces and great nephews.

A memorial service will be held 7:00pm, Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Wilmington Burial and Cremation 1435 41st St, Wilmington, N.C.
